I always maintained a good balance between studies and my hobbies. I really love to travel and for that I missed my freshers as I was getting to visit Nathu La Pass. So I feel more than college events what matters is never leaving our hobbies due to pressure of studies.

Yep I missed the convocation, and I regret it even now.
Yes . A lot of events . I used to be a day- scholar in my 1st profession and had to miss many college events. So I decided to stay in hostel for 2 profession. That’s when I realized that missing some events are much better than having hostel food. 
So again in my final profession and internship I switched back to being a day scholar 
U dint regret it?
College days are one of the most important authentic period of our life and it’s better to live it to the fullest as these days are never retrievable. So try to make the most out of it and if you are unable to on a few occasions, just don’t sit back and be upset rather think of something else that could make you happier
