The Hidden Hunger: Why 90% of Us are "Sun-Starved" ☀️🕶️

Feeling exhausted even after a full night’s sleep? That nagging backache or sudden “brain fog” might not be stress it might be a Vitamin D3 deficiency.

In today’s world of AC offices and 9 to 5 desk grinds, we’ve become a shadow generation.Statistics show that in urban areas, 9 out of 10 people are running low on the sunshine vitamin.

Why the sudden spike?

  • The Indoor Trap: We trade the sun for screens, spending 90% of our day under LED lights.

  • The Young Adult Crisis: From remote work to late-night gaming, young adults are now the most at-risk group for low D3.

  • The Food Myth: You can’t “eat” enough Vitamin D3; your skin needs the sun to manufacture it.

The Fix: Just 15–20 minutes of midday sun can “recharge” your body’s battery.

How many minutes did you spend outside today?

Do you feel “randomly” tired by 3 PM?

Have you checked your levels this year, or are you ignoring the signs?

Don’t let your health fade in the shade. Step out and soak it up!

As we see the AI generation is taking over, most of the work is done indoors. Vitamin D deficiency will be seen in almost everyone in near future. For this, I think a wearable device like a wrist watch should be designed which stores sunlight and gives you the same in small fraction throughout the day would help.
