The digitalization of hospital work culture

In early days doctors and patients use to rely on offline paper works such as prescription,reports,and other suggestions given by doctor, with the help to new softwares such as DoctorsApp,Practo Ray,etc.. the entire medical industry in revolutionized, and it has a major impact by reducing the burden of losing data related to patients. With this innovative solution entirety of patients history, prescription, report are made online by providing a unique ID to the patient . Which can be easily accessed by a different hospital and need not for running an entire history & reports on the patient’s.

Are we transitioning into a new only digital era or for some parts old methods are better ? What are your thoughts on this

This is a very beneficial transition as it speeds up many process and it will help document almost every case for better study the only issue is privacy breaches as the data can be accessed and misused by individuals or companies for personal interests.

While digitalization of hospital holds numerous benefits, for small clinics, the high initial cost and technical complexity of advanced software can still be a barrier compared to the immediate, low-cost nature of paper.

Depending entirely on machines and computers could be useful yet harmful in other ways. A single error in the system could result in the complete erasure of the data compiled through the years. Both paperwork and digitalization are required at appropriate areas to ensure smooth operation of the hospital management.

Healthcare is rapidly becoming digital, making patient data easier to store, access, and share.
However, traditional methods are still important in emergencies and areas with limited technology, so a hybrid approach works best.
