Have you ever spent the whole day with your books and still felt like nothing actually stayed?
I used to sit hours with an open book, after finishing my “Studies”. I tested myself and realised I don’t remember anything. It meant I wasn’t studying properly.
I tried to study hard but the output was disappointing.Over time, I realised it wasn’t a lack of effort from me it was mental fatigue.
Most of the time, we’re:
• Studying while exhausted
• Reading without really processing
• Studying out of fear, not clarity
• Forcing long hours instead of focused ones
Sitting with books all day doesn’t always mean learning.
Sometimes, it just means we’re too tired or distracted to absorb anything.
Medical students don’t struggle because they’re lazy.
They struggle because they’re mentally overloaded.
Does this happen to you too?
