Reading the textbook well, taking notes and revising them well.
Discussing with class mates is also a strategy that worked for m.
Problem based learning with clinical corelation has always helped me.

Studying in mbbs is a bit complicated. After you have studied a topic you should be able to know it in a way that is useful for clinical practice (how you can apply it in hospital) and for examination purpose (NEET pg/INICET/university exams)

Solving questions for the taught topic:-

Going along with the lecture topic is actually easy to follow → taking help from the professor , studying it ourselves and then doing case questions and reading case studies.
One of the subject we had in our last semester was “Differential Diagnosis” that included multiple cases where we used to read the case report step by step and then used to cross out the irrelevant diagnosis and coming to the correct on at the end of the case study. This made us apply pathology, pharmacology, medicine, surgery, Everything together, that’s how we practiced.
So taking a lecture offline/virtual , then self studing the topic (highlight and making pointers) then solving a few questions and reading 2-3 cases was my go through technique. :maple_leaf:
