As a pharmacy student, I have always heard from my professors saying, like, always have backup plans, but should I have a backup plan, or will it distract me from my actual goal?
Should I have backup as clinical research, medical writing, or regulatory affairs if my first choice does not work?
Sometimes it gets so confusing because different people give different advice. So I want to know, from my seniors and industry people working in this field, how should I tackle this?
I feel having a backup plan is important, no need to shut other doors while chasing one goal. You can stay focused on your main path and still explore others smartly.
Medical writing is an upcoming field which offers jobs in both regulatory writing and healthcare blog writing
There is also Pharmacovigilance and Clinical data management which have good scope as well
