Saliva is basically filtered blood: Benefits of your own Saliva

•Our own saliva (spit) actually has several health benefits, both naturally inside the mouth and in some traditional practices outside it.

•Inside the mouth, it protects our teeth and gums by washing away food particles, neutralising acids, and helping small wounds heal faster thanks to its anti-bacterial enzymes.

•Traditionally, some people also use their morning saliva on insect bites or pimples, as it may reduce swelling or help them dry out.

Have you ever heard about this

Most people don’t realize how important saliva is for our health. It’s not just for digestion it actually helps clean the mouth, fight germs, and even heal tiny wounds.

Yes, I’ve heard this before especially the part about using morning saliva on insect bites. I didn’t take it seriously earlier, but later I realised even science agrees that saliva has antibacterial and healing properties!

Never heard abt it

Saliva has great contribution to our health. I recently came across that someone use saliva as pimple hack. What is the truth behind it? Is there any explanation for this?

That’s absolutely true👍

Interesting.
