I think the problem of unemployment among the India’s young doctors could be solved If government can construct more Hospitals in both rural and urban areas . This will also help the patient for their proper treatment
One big way to fix this would be to create more government jobs in temporary roles like, in healthcare technology, telemedicine platforms, medical research, and healthcare management. Encouraging and training graduates for these alternative but vital roles can open new career avenues and might stop the umemployment. This broader approach not only creates jobs but also modernizes our healthcare system to meet future challenges.
The rising unemployment among young doctors is an alarming reality we face every day.
I’ve seen it firsthand with younger siblings and cousins, their first reality check after graduation is joblessness.
We all know the solutions, yet meaningful change lies in the hands of medical bodies that must take this crisis seriously.
Until then, we can prepare future doctors by making them aware of the problem while still in college and guiding them toward alternative opportunities they can pursue right after MBBS. This way, they can keep earning and protect themselves from the stress and anxiety of a long job hunt.
We need more hospitals, especially in rural areas. It can offer more opportunities to doctors and other healthcare professionals.
I believe placements after graduating would be beneficial. Build more hospitals, it is also important to give opportunities to junior doctors and provide proper training before they step into jobs.
Unemployment is everywhere. We need a strict policy change. A lot of talented youth are finding a hard time getting a job.
Government has only increased medical seats but not the opportunities after graduation and post graduation for the doctors. Government needs to increase the hospital to decrease the unemployment of doctors. Government needs to work side by side with medical colleges and hospitals.
Honestly, I feel government should focus on building more hospitals in villages this would solve two big issues at once:
- better healthcare access in rural areas and more job opportunities for fresh doctors.
I’m not an Medico to convey correct reply but I feel they should provide every junior and senior resident doctor roles in government or private hospitals atleast in any team which can be like helping hand and learning alot and also employment can be fulfilled atleast for few months
Collaborating of government hospital with private hospital is something that can be implemented, so that deserving doctors get their deserving positions.
Also, there should be increase in government hospital itself, it not only gives employment but also ensures a larger population of people are getting their healthcare needs met.
By increasing number of hospital and also my increasing number of vacancies.
The root cause : increase in healthcare admission seats
Ok don’t take me wrong here,
But today healthcare courses are not seen as a profession of service rather a competition to win
And increase in seats is just a business done with students .
I’m not against higher amount of doctors but it shouldn’t be just increase in seats in one med school ,
It should be increase in hospitals and new seats should be added in them rather than increasing seats in already ongoing hospitals,
for UG
And as for PG , the intake capacity is way too low
In medical culture , overworking, running on caffeine, double shifts is seen as hardworking and a much more learned doctor
But what about the compromised health of that resident?
There should be enough residents in a hospital that everyone gets proper sleep and time to eat rather than running on chips while living on coffee shots!
In a solvent and solution ,
After the solute and solvent mixture, after the solute has reached its limit, what happens?
I don’t think I need to explain more on this
If u read my last question , u already know the answer!
This is less an issue of employment and more an issue of seeking prestige, income and a good life. In a country like India, with the ever-growing population there is always a need for skilled medical professionals, but not everyone can make a living out of voluntary and free medical service.
The number of doctors that graduate every year in our country are valuable assets that are being put to waste. Our government provides no valuable incentives or motivations for them to voluntarily serve those who are most in need.
Not really cause unemployment among doctor is not the case , he can do something on his own if you are talking about hospital doctor job then Itight be a different scenarios
Better rural postings and safer working conditions could help. On top of these, if the number of graduates is adjusted to meet the real requirements of the healthcare system, it might help doctors find jobs quicker and feel less pressured to fly out of the country.
Concerning topic as medical profession is among the best career options in India.
This is a serious issue that’s not talked about enough. We often assume doctors will get jobs easily, but the truth is, many fresh graduates are waiting months before finding stable work because the number of seats and positions is far less than the number of qualified candidates. In our country, many rural areas still don’t have proper hospitals or enough doctors. If the government focused on building well-equipped hospitals in these areas, it would not only give people access to better healthcare but also create employment opportunities for newly graduated doctors.
Along with that, increasing senior residency seats and involving private hospitals in structured training programs could help ensure that skilled doctors aren’t left waiting while communities remain underserved.
While the total number of medical graduates is quickly rising, the current lack of senior residency seats implies that strategies should focus on not just expanding seats, along with rewarding placements in social and rural health settings, where medical demands are highest.
Rising unemployment among Indian young doctor’s Market demand higher qualification . Insufficient of healthcare sector particularly in rural areas .
