Gold nanoparticle eye trail in the mice was firstly performed at the brown university in the USA.

Experiment on the mice was conducted with retinal degeneration and it was succeeded in restoring the vision by using the gold nanoparticles on April 16,2025.

RESULTS:
Restored the functional vision: Mice is able to respond for the visual.
No toxicity and no inflammation: After testing for several months the nanoparticles are safe in the eye by not damaging the tissue.
Long term effect: After the initial treatment it has been cleared that it will show the long term effect.
Visual Activation: The signals was reached to the brain and indicates signals from retina to brain connection.
NOT YET READY FOR HUMAN TRIALS: This research is undergoing in the animals but not yet stepped into human trials.
