FDA has approved new drug Qfitlia (fitusiran) for treating hemophilia A and B.

It mainly works by reducing the antithrombin levels, leading to an increase in thrombin levels, a protein essential for blood clotting.

Qfitlia improves blood clotting in patients with bleeding disorders - Hemophilia A and B.
