**A psychosomatic disorder is a condition where psychological factors like stress, anxiety, or depression can cause or worsen physical symptoms.3. **

How do you know know if the patient is suffering with psychosomatic disorder when he walks to your clinic ???

****1. Frequent visits to the clinic **
** Complains of pain - there clinical and radiographic evidence associate to complain **
3. Multiple dential clinic vists with the same complain… And is not satisfied with the previous treatment
4. Asking questions frequently double checking every step
5. physical signs like tapping feet, sweaty hands - signs of anxiousness

Treatment
Be patient enough with them
Pass the information through models, and pictorial charts
Have a good talk before starting the treatment that will lower the anxiety levels
If in extreme cases talk to ur seniors to deal sich patients, advice psychtrists counselling, if you are experienced enough then advice patients with antidepressants.

Excellent post and very well explained :slightly_smiling_face:
Just to add : when it comes to antidepressants, it’s important that the patient meets proper diagnostic criteria and a psychiatric referral can help guide the treatment plan when needed.
