PREFERENCE TO EXPERIENCE RATHER THAN JUST HAPPINESS

One of the most unexpected turning points in my life came when I stopped chasing happiness and started choosing experiences.
During my college days, I decided to try something unfamiliar — writing articles.
It wasn’t something I did for instant happiness. It was uncomfortable.

But that step slowly led me here — to loving the process of creating informational content and sharing reflections like this. That experience changed the direction of my life. That’s when I realised — happiness wasn’t the goal. When happiness becomes the only goal, it can quietly limit you. It keeps you in what feels safe and familiar.

Choosing experiences, on the other hand, expands you. It opens doors you didn’t even know existed. Keeping your options wide allows life to surprise you.

Set yourself up for experiences. One of them might change everything. Any such experiences to share?

Very insightful, ma’am. Exploring often brings new surprises into life or maybe becomes a complete turning point. Likewise, exploring writing is what brought us here.

Nice insight! Choosing meaningful experiences instead of just chasing momentary happiness often leads to personal growth, new opportunities, and deeper satisfaction in life. Experiences, even uncomfortable ones, can shape your path more than always aiming for quick happiness.
