Pharmacoeconomics will be beneficial for pharmacy candidates only when it is introduced into our curriculum. Just like agriculture students study agroeconomics.
Employers are less likely to hire a pharmacy candidate with no background knowledge of economics. Furthermore, if you want to pursue proper medical data analysis, you’ll need to get your hands on SQL and machine learning, which is quite different from what we’ve studied.
