This will be a great step toward making the curriculum industry-relevant, as even after course completion and industrial training, interns are underpaid and have to undergo mandatory one-year training. Then what is the use of industrial training as a part of the curriculum?

My sir told me the same and said new syllabus will foster the growth of pharma student

I think this is a crucial decision that should’ve been made long ago.
The current syllabus is outdated compared to modern advancements in AI and other techniques in our field. Specifically, it lacks practical knowledge on these topics like medical coding, forcing graduates to undergo additional training and certification courses even after completing their degree. This feels like a waste of time. The updated syllabus will likely bridge the gap between academia and industry, preparing students for the demands of the modern pharmaceutical landscape.

A great work PCI

It is good move done by pcI for pharma students

This is a good step. The old syllabus was not matching today’s pharmacy needs. Now with more focus on practical training and industry exposure, students like us will learn things that are useful in real life. This change was really needed!

I think they have taken great decisions about it. This will help pharma students to get job easily and they will have good knowledge before getting into it.
