A Patent Analyst plays a vital role in the intellectual property (IP) industry, analyzing inventions, patents, and technologies to support R&D, legal, and strategic buisness decisions.
Key Resposibilities
- Perform prior art searchers
- Analyze claims, specifications, and citations
- Identify s and white space areas
- Monitor patent filling of rivals companies
- Generate patent landscape and IP benchmarking reports
- Support or draft patent applications
- Prepare office action responses
- Interpret legal status of patents
Eligibility or Educational Background:
- B. Pharma, M.. Pharma, Msc(Life Sciences), M. Tech, B. Tech. ( biotech, pharma, chemistry, electronic etc.)
- Knowledge in IPR or Patent law is a plus
- Certification in Patent Analysis or IPR
Skills:
- Strong technical background in relevant domain.
- Good understanding of patent data base
- excellent analytical interpretation skills
- Stroong written communication adn reporting ability
- Familiarity with patent classification systems
