Osteoarthritis Treatment: A Promising New Direction

Osteoarthritis, the most common type of arthritis which happens when the cartilage that lines your joints is worn down or damaged and your bones rub together.
A recent animal study suggests that a new experimental injection might help repair joint damage caused by osteoarthritis.

Study finding:-

Researchers developed a slow-release drug injection for joints. The drug slowly releases the medicine into the joint and

  • Activates cartilage and bone regeneration and repair

  • Reversed osteoarthritis changes in 4-8 weeks

Takeaway:-

This new injection is quite promising, but it is still in developmental stage. Needs more research and clinical trials.

What do you think about the impact it will create if it had been clinically proven too???
