Absolutely agree! Financial literacy is just as important as clinical skills—especially with rising education costs. Workshops on EMIs, interest rates, and budgeting are long overdue in medical colleges.

These are the things which should be the main part of our curriculum but unfortunately it’s not.

Even if there courses available they are mostly paid.

Self learning by watching YouTube videos or reading - these approaches can be taken to uplift the financial knowledge in every student.

Just being book smart is not enough , the colleges should train us to be street smart as well. Financial literacy is a life skill that everyone should know. Conducting workshops or providing details on how to manage finances will be a big step towards creating well rounded professionals who can manage their careers and life better.
