Medical education should include more of interdisciplinary case based learnings also integrate career planning and financial literacy. Medical colleges nurture doctors not just make toppers who know everything. They should value overall growth and not just knowledge.

Moving more practical than rote learning from books … Some protocols have changed with time and a few books still teach those and students are asked to learn… That is one thing that needs to change according to me …
Secondly, yes including budgeting is another important aspect when we live in the hostel in India or abroad.
