The NEET PG will be good option if your studied prompt and case wise and go for INICET if your conceptually strong
In simple words inicet is for admissions into aiims jipmer and few other colleges
Newt pg is a general exam for pg admissions into other colleges
I think in my opinion INICET is far more tougher than. NEET PG
Although we can find atleast some direct or one liners in NEET PG but in INICET the questions are more integrated based. So neet pg is a bit easier than INICET
NEET PG- Conducted by NBE (National Board of Examinations), offers courses like MD , MS ,PG Diploma . Easier than INICET generally . Highly competitive due to large number of candidates.
INICET- Conducted by AIIMS Delhi . Offers courses like MS,MD,MDS,DM . Provides colleges like AIIMS, JIPMER, NIMHANS,PGIMER, SCTIMST. Occurs twice a year
As most of us aware of the fact that INICET is towards the tricky side, while NEET is more to words remembrance and knowledge. For me, I heard that taking Non- clinical courses after INICET have better scope and knowledge gaining opportunities as the central institutions are better in non-clinics than in clinics in regard with learning. Central institutions are poor choices if one likes to take a surgical field, I think, they must focus on NEE rather than INICETâŚ..
Boss fight or marathon, what stays uniform in the proceess is the consistency and hardwork. No wonders that every field requires and has its own competition and compitency, but we as future doctors are provided this as the guiding horses of our field in terms of exam.
-INICET is accepted at 22 institutions, including 18 AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER and NIMHANS
- NEET-PG is accepted in all other government and private medical colleges across India
- NEET PG is conducted annually, whereas INICET exam is conducted twice a year
-INI CET exam focuses more on clinical-based reasoning and assertion-reasoning questions, whereas NEET PG is more of a factual recall with clinical scenarios.
- NEET PG has an overall moderate to high difficulty level and places slightly less emphasis on concepts.
Both exams have 200 multiple-choice questions, but NEET PG is slightly longer with an additional 30 minutes of exam time
Thankyou
ThankyouâŚnice explanation.
In India, the entrances for postgraduate medical education comprise NEET PG and INICET. INICET works only for admission into and registration at AIIMS, PGIMER, and a few other elite institutions whereas NEET PG is admitted to MD/MS at one time or the other in most other colleges. Those eligible then go either to practice/academics or straight to specialization followed by super-speciality degree.
Thankyou so much for the information.
INI-CET is JEE advanced of doctors. To get into a premium institutes such as AIIMS, JIPMER, PGI , you need to sit for INI-CET. The seats are less but it proves credibility of the individual. While a piece of paper canât decide your credibility, smarter brains should be appreciated!
With NEET -PG , itâs more of like a JEE maine exam , wherein youâve government and private colleges open for you to choose!
NEET PG is enterance exam for any medical college including private and government after mbbs in India whereas INICET is for the top best medical colleges AIIMS, JIPMERS and others after mbbs too. NEET PG is a medium difficulty level with more seats and INICET is at a higher difficulty level with lesser seats.
In the cut throat competitive era, just studying is not enough. Strong clinical skills and higher order thinking is vitial to pursue your dreams.
Neet Pg is common entrance exam for all India medical PG STUDENTS. Those who wants to take admission in PG and choose their specialties WHILE INICET is for all India AIIMS JIPMER and other top institutions Pg exam for the PG STUDENTS to choose their specialties.
USMLE is more tougher than NEET PG and more expensive too, As USMLE exam is for admission in US MEDICAL UNIVERSITIES for specialisation and to practice and expensive too.
The common thing is both are the post graduates medical courses in India.
Choosing between NEET PG and INICET depends on your goals. NEET PG is national, highly competitive, and opens AIIMS/PGIMER options. INICET is for AIIMS institutes only but has a different pattern. If you want more choices, NEET PG is targeting AIIMS and INICET.
