My Experience about Accessing Facilities for Rehab people in Hospitals

I recently done a project to check the accessibility of rehab patient in the hospitals and what are the steps taken to rehab patient to access hospital facilities and what are all the lack present in the hospitals. Initially i check the ramp facilities for the amputed patient and elderly patient and patient who does not have the ability to walk it was good and easy accessible. In lift i found that there is no voice announcement so that blind people cannot be accessible. There is no tactile path for blind people so that blind people may face difficulties. There is no braille sign for the blind people. So the hospital administration should take special care for physically challenged people to make easy access of hospital without any person help and help to improve confidence among them.

The findings of this research should make us think about healthcare more accessible. Just talking about it is not enough , we should actually take steps in the right direction for it. To make an inclusive and safe environment is what patients need

Great findings indeed, we usually do not consider the availability of even such basic facilities at hospitals. Many hospitals should start incorporating your observations.
