Modern hospitals are built with better infrastructure, latest cutting edge technology and specialist doctors in various departments but as we are humans sometimes we need little and warm human centered things that change our hospital experience.
maybe translators/signboards written in different languages so patients feel more at ease
a quiet room for families to grieve or discuss things
better food/ coffee in the canteen and waiting areas Comment one thing that you wish hospitals and clinics had
I wish hospitals should have multilingual signboards and volunteers who could help patients in their native language. It would make people feel more comfortable, especially when they’re already anxious or in pain.
Maybe self- help books like books about being positive and being confident.
Some comic magazines for kids
Better ambiance with walls having paintings and vibrant colours to make you feel better
The wards should have proper seating for the patient’s family
Yes, the most of the hospitals feels like some kinda of futuristic corporates giving a alienated feeling majorly!!! As you said multilingual sign board, a good food / snack zone and a good hospitality but the management! I think the last one can only be achieved by increasing the man power and deceasing the work load and stress of the workers in the first place!!
