Modern medicine, science and in general better economic conditions have resulted in longer life spans.

Yes in some cases

Yes, allopathic medicine (modern medicine) has overall increased human life expectancy quite a lot,

-Vaccines (preventing deadly diseases like smallpox, polio)
-Antibiotics (saving lives from infections that were once fatal)
-Surgery (removing tumors, fixing injuries)

It depends on the disease whether its acute or chronic

Modern medicine has not only improved the life expectancy but also it’s quality. Robotic surgeries has increased the precision in complex cases.

True.

But,

Medicine alone cannot increase the life span. A healthy lifestyle with balanced diet, exercise and mental health is equally important.

Also, overuse of drugs has also increased significantly. Antibiotic resistance and overuse of OTC drugs are a matter of concern.

Allopathic medicine significantly extends human life by preventing and treating infections, chronic diseases, and emergencies. However, true longevity also depends on lifestyle, environment, and genetics beyond just medical treatment.
