MBBS scenario in Kyrgyzstan

I have heard of many Indian students going to Kyrgyzstan for pursuing MBBS.
How is the scenario there and how easy /difficult to attain admission there? Is it very expensive (compared to other countries)?

Kyrgyzstan is a popular destination for Indian students pursuing MBBS due to its affordable tuition fees (₹15-30 lakh for the entire course) and MCI/NMC-recognized universities. Admission is relatively easy, requiring only 50% in PCB (for general category) and NEET qualification. Living costs are low, and English-medium courses are available. Compared to countries like the USA, UK, or even private colleges in India, it is much cheaper. However, factors like climate, cultural differences, and FMGE passing rates should be considered.

I don’t think it is that expensive, cost of living is also average and talking about education it is excellent and considering other factors students will come across new culture and beautiful environment. Please consider all the factors and choose wisely

Kyrgyzstan is a pragmatic choice for students seeking an affordable, quality MBBS degree with global mobility potential. However, thorough research into university accreditation, preparedness for cultural adaptation, and proactive career planning post-graduation are essential. For budget-conscious students willing to embrace a new environment, Kyrgyzstan’s medical universities offer a viable pathway to a medical career.

Most universities teach entirely in English, eliminating language barriers during coursework. Clinical exposure in affiliated hospitals also begins early, enhancing practical skills.

I believe tue students end up learning Kyrgyz and Russian languages too while interacting with the patient population. In China, I am told, students are provided special classes for learning Mandarin.

Being a MBBS graduate from Kyrgyzstan
I can tell u merits and demerits of studying there:

  1. Low cost than the Indian private institutions
  2. Not so long hours of travel from the home country
  3. Special classes for mci
  4. A new experience in the beautiful country
  5. Teach from the standard books
  6. Make u disciplined (100% attendance)

Here are some demerits:

  1. Weather too cold to handle
  2. Have to study some basic subjects in 1st year like languages n all
  3. Obvio u miss maa ke hath ka khana
