It often begins as a subtle issue, so it doesn’t seem like a barrier at first. So people tend to ignore or manage it .However, after sometime, it escalates rapidly, leaving individuals struggling to carry out even their most basic daily tasks.
Joint pain has become a common health issue among public, including youngsters. What starts as a mild ache or pain gradually elevates and results in restricting our normal physical activities like walking, climbing stairs etc. There are many factors that can cause joint pain in youngsters like sports injuries, overuse, underlying conditions like juvenile arthritis. But I think the prime factor that would cause this condition would be the lifestyle factors like obesity and sedentary behaviour of the younger population.
It’s true, many young people ignore early signs and push their bodies too hard. Lack of movement, poor posture, long screen time, and stress all add up.
I think it’s a mix of sitting too much, not moving right, and constant stress. We push our bodies hard but forget to care for them until it’s too late.
As many of the young people are sitting in front of the desktop for one third of the day and lacking the exercise and workout required to maintain a fit and healthy body. There is also role of diet which changed and causing health issues.
I believe the rising cases of body pain are largely due to our lifestyle and poor pain management. We often neglect giving the body the proper care, rest, and recovery time it truly needs to heal.
I think it’s a mixture of poor diet and an increasingly sedentary lifestyle, insufficient physical engagement and poor food habits are largely responsible for this, also excess weight gain with inadequate muscle could be a contributing factor.
