AI will definitely support healthcare rather than replace pharmacists. When used appropriately, AI can be an incredible tool that enhances efficacy and accuracy in clinical pharmacy and patient care.
However, the clinical judgment, empathy and patient counseling provided by clinical pharmacists are irreplaceable.
AI can help in improving efficiency of clinical pharmacists and reduce their workload, but decision making remains human-driven and hence AI cannot replace them.

Such an innovative topic to address. It’s inevitable that AI is coming into job roles no one foretold about. So it’s inevitable that it can enter into pharmaceutical roles. But I believe human intervention would be essential as well.
