At some point the excitement of studying medicine fades away.
Everything starts to feel like a long checklist that you have to get through.
Stop for a moment and think about this:
Do you still feel curious about medicine. What you are studying?
Are you just trying to get through all the topics in your medicine course?
When you learn something about medicine do you really connect it to what you already know or do you just note it down?
Because somewhere between all the medicine lectures and exams it is easy to lose sight of why you started studying medicine in the place.
So take a step back. Think about it:
Do you remind yourself why you started studying medicine?
Are you learning about medicine with interest or are you just doing it because you have to?
If there were no exams, in medicine would you still want to learn about it?
Because the reason you started studying medicine is what keeps you going when you do not feel like it anymore.
So ask yourself: are you really studying medicine or are you just trying to complete your medicine course?
Let us talk about this. What keeps you connected to the reason you started studying medicine?
