There are good opportunities for marine biotechnology in research. Its interesting to see the new bioproducts and mechanisms in it
While it has good scope, especially with the exposure we get these days. I don’t think it flourishes as much as medical biotechnology.
Though it is a highly signficant field, it is not much developed in India and that’s why the scope of it is very less here as compared to other biotechnology fields that are highly evolved and are connected with jobs in industry and academia like industrial biotechnology, animal and plant biotechnology, immuno-technology, medical and agricultural biotechnology etc. The universities offering this field of study is also very less in comparison.
Marine biotechnology is a fascinating field. However, in India, it is still underdeveloped due to limited research and infrastructure, despite the country’s rich marine resources.
Research on how waste disposal in water bodies effect water organisms and how the same water organisms when consumed cause diff type of diseases in human beings and how it could be avoided
