Investing in preventive healthcare can significantly reduce the disease burden and long-term healthcare costs in India.

It promotes early detection, healthier lifestyles and reduces the strain on an already overburdened curative care system.

Great it should be implemented prevention is better than cure

Preventive healthcare is good for India. It helps find diseases early and keeps people healthy, reducing costs. Let’s prioritize health!

Preventive is better than cure. Its great, if people are more aware about prevention rather than cure. This awareness helps to make people healthier and boost their immune system to fight against disease.

Yes if government starts investing the money on preventing then the government no need to spent a lot of money on curing. And many people life’s are to be saved by investing in early stage and also it will not get burden to the doctors also. Because at the time of COVID-19 we lost many doctors. In the process of saving the other peoples life many doctors sacrificed their lifes. This should not be repeated again. So prevention is better than cure.

Yes , true

Very true, as it will decrease the amount of stress as well that keeps on mounting when people come for therapeutic interventions after suffering from the disease. Besides, it will also keep people hopeful for the treatment procedures ahead and this only helps in building a better healthcare system within the country because people feel that hope and they exhibit trust on the healthcare community. Words of mouth can spread through this way, as when one person gets benefitted, he/she will talk about it and indirectly that can create awareness as well among common people about visiting a physician at the early stages for preventive health care or for early diagnosis and disease prognosis.

Preventive healthcare is a smart step as it helps catch diseases early and encourages people to live healthier. This way, we can avoid bigger health problems later.

Prevention is always better than cure.
Prevention will decrease the number of cases of diseases which are mostly waterborne, foodborne and vector borne . So investment in preventive health care will be better than curative healthcare.

Totally agree! Preventive healthcare helps us find problems early, stay healthier, and avoid big hospital bills later. In India, where hospitals are often crowded, focusing on prevention can reduce the pressure on the system.

Very true, prevention is better than cure. But that would mean focusing more on funding research and remedies that are reliable. Which may not always favour the business model on which some healthcare institutions operate.

It’s Ayurveda tagline though-
PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE

If you see, in India the least concern area is medical …like govt says we are doing alot but ground reality is diffrent and promoting health will cost alot like time, money majorly manpower
So thats why things are going as it is

Exactly, Preventive healthcare should me more focused than curative healthcare. It can definitely lower the disease burden and healthcare costs. Preventive measures like vaccination have already shown its impact in preventing many diseases and lowering the mortality and morbidity associated with those diseases. Always remember that prevention is better than cure.

prevention is better than cure

Yes , The diagnosis is cheap but after it the medication , hospital services for prolonged illnesses are not bearable to lot of us.
India has now high time to invest in preventive ways to stop the mass spread of disesase and treat the disease just after the disgnosis as we know “prevention is better than cure”

The scope for preventative medicine and its important among non-medical population has been popular ever since covid times. People are really worried out there and are willing to follow the rules to prevention of diseases and healthy living.

Absolutely agree!

Regular screenings, awareness programs, and lifestyle interventions can save lives, cut costs, and keep hospitals from overflowing. Prevention isn’t just cheaper, it’s smarter healthcare.
