If given the opportunity to serve as the Health Minister for a day, What three changes would you make to improve Healthcare Management?

If I am given a chance to serve as the Health Minister for a day, I would like to -

1. Increase funding for Primary Health centres (PHCs) and ensure availability of basic equipment and medicines and also initiate recruitment drives for rural doctors, pharmacists, nurses and ASHA workers.

  1. Set up a centralised 24/7 emergency response and ambulance service in all districts.
  2. Due to the increasing no. Of suicides and drug consumption in our country, Mental health is an important concern, so I will launch a helpline number and awareness campaigns in schools, colleges and workplaces.

What are the three actions you would take in our Healthcare Management?

I think we are not that much mature and knows about the deep insight of these things but if I have to make 3 points that will be .

  1. Make a team in every area of every city and village to check the government hospital on every week and to maintain the standards
  2. Reservation from neet should be removed. Cause who really things that a students who have got more marks can’t be doctor because of reservation and maybe in future the students who got low marks leads to death of some other patients who don’t know anything
  3. Strict action towards pharmacy store , as a pharmacy students I have to make a point in that , so actually there are very low fines in breaching the rules that have to be increased
