So my friends have started their jobs and all as MR and I have too as medical content writer but their salary is pretty high but they are not going to study m Pharma but I am going too but still I feel I am left behind
this is the same situation i am going through . most of my friends are known have good salary job and here i am thinking i am doing nothing
If you know what you want to do ahead in your life, if you know your goals, if you are confident enough that might this thing will take some time but I am going to make it - then my friend keep going on no matter what.
Trust me, it’s the same situation for all. Maybe those people of which we are thinking that they are doing good - they might also have the same thinking for others as well. It’s a loop.
So just focus on yourself. Good things take time!
It’s okay to feel left behind, but you’re not. Your friends may be earning more now, but you’re investing in your future through M.Pharm and building real expertise. Their path is quick gain but yours is long term growth. Your time is coming!!!
I personally suggest not comparing yourself to your friends’ careers. Instead, focus on your long-term goals and follow your passion.
So here’s the raw truth, everyone xan feel they’re behind even if they are technically not …thats just how this fast paced world is. And key here is to calm yourself down by urself and stop comparison because (lmao its cliche saying) we all have different journeys and have diff purposes to fulfill so looking at others is just a waste
Well said
Exactly… seeing others, we shouldn’t get demoralized!
Sometimes we have to accept that and someday we will. But we will try to do everything that can be done by us. If you feel insecure then I suggest you to try doing different things that can be useful for you in future and write it on everyday basis to remind yourself how far you have gone
By comparing with others it will literally destroy our mental peace and we cannot concentrate on our self development. so by thinking about them it is better to trust on our knowledge and hard work then one day we too will get succeeded for sure in our life and we will settle in a high position than them.
Agree, many of my colleagues are doing jobs after B pharm some are in MR medical coding.
I am still not working some are doing MBA m pharm or in abroad.
Well everything is fine we should do better just take time .
Don’t Compare yourself with anyone everyone’s Journey is Unique
But, how do we manage our personal goals if the only thing our parents and the economical condition wants us to start is just earning ?
That not true. You are progressing. pursuing you further studies for for better future and career is not a bad idea.
It’s okay everyone feels like this at some point.
Know that u are not alone
Following the crowd always doens’t mean going forward.
U are doing what you want to, they are doing what they want to
Just be sure of always what u are doing, trust yourself
We can never say we are left behind just by observing one area of our life. Work is one important aspect, through which everyone is judged, but there are other areas too that play a signficant role in one’s life. During each age range (20-30, 30-40, 40-50, and 50-60) where people are working, they feel they are left behind by concentrating on a specific area of their life. You might feel I am left behind in work in the first range, in the second range one may feel that work is there, but they still feel left behind in the relationship and family life, in the third range one may feel that they are left behind in terms of building much in life and in the last range one may feel they are left behind in terms of health despite everything being there around. So each stage has its own signficance and if we really want to know if we are left behind or not, let us look at and evaluate every area of our life and let us start taking steps for each of them slowly and gradually, so that in course of time we feel accomplished in each area, as not everyone feel accomplished in every area of their life and it is rare. So, let us enjoy our own journey at our own pace embracing both failures and victories, as nothing really goes waste in life.
Its okay to feel stuck, there is always a hope for better.
Comparing yourself with others can kill your own personality. Focus and believe in yourself, keep learning and studying hard. One day, you will be proud of yourself.
In healthcare studies, it’s easy to feel stuck when the pace is overwhelming or the progress seems slow. What’s helped me is pausing to reflect on little wins—like grasping a tough concept or helping someone out. Small steps add up.
Sometimes just sharing doubts or swapping revision tips with friends can pull you forward. You’re not alone progress might feel quiet, but it’s happening, even if it’s not always obvious.
Every person do not share the same dream so the path that they choose are bound to be different. Its more important to know your own goals , its scope, future prospects etc. And then sticking to that path. You will feel left behind, lacking and inferior but it’s part of the process of learning.
