I try to stay calm during pressure situations. Taking deep breaths and focusing on one step at a time helps me think clearly. I’ve noticed that panic only makes things worse, so staying composed really helps.
When the situation is very tense around, first of all I take some time to create a distance between the situation and myself like observing that situation excluding myself from it. As that allows me to view only the situation and it doesn’t give an idea to my mind that I’m situated within that situation as a victim and suffering. And this strategy allows me to take better decision related to tackling the situation in a more productive way as it helps in protecting my mind against going into that vicious loop of overthinking and victimized zone.
