How much should students know about ethics before entering clinical training?

Cultivating future healthcare professionals means preparing students for real world scenarios where just academic knowledge is never enough. Ethical considerations may come into conflict requiring sound ethical judgment. Medical ethics in most institutions either exists as a module briefly touched on or comes too late when students are already entrenched in clinical training.
