Do you think medical students get enough exposure to real-world ethical dilemmas? How can this be improved?
As undergraduate students, I don’t think anyone in any med college does..
As postgraduate students, since you tend to be on the field more independently and have increased bed side exposure, chances are you’ll come across a few each month in a govt hospital.
Ethics as a subject should be taught with more emphasis during MBBS. Real world situations will come during clinical rotations and once we come into clinical practice.

Yes you are right.
It depends on the institution. Most students get exposed to the “ethical dilemmas” of medicine during their clinical years. I believe medical ethics should have a refresher course every 3 to 5 years.
Most of them get limited exposure during traing but intergrating more case based discussions , simulations , early clinical exposure can bridge this gap and build stronger ethical reasoning.
Honestly, I think exposure can be limited. We need more real-world case discussions and reflective practice with experienced clinicians.
