How lucrative is doing Pharm D in India? I’ve heard a lot about it. It’s such an extensive six years study. Does it open new pathways for the graduates and what are such options?
Pharm D in India has potential but is still evolving. While it provides expertise in clinical pharmacy and patient care, job opportunities in India are somewhat limited.
As a PharmD student, I believe that while the program provides comprehensive knowledge and clinical experience, the current job market and compensation packages in India do not adequately reflect the investment of time and effort to complete a 6-year course. However, there is a significant potential for growth and development of the field in the future.
As an MLT student, I find the extent that Pharm.D has to offer in patient-focused care and clinical pharmacy to be truly admirable. While in India roles still have to be better structured and brought into focus, Pharm.D absolutely brings much value to the healthcare team particularly when it comes to evidence-based therapy. It’ll hopefully receive the pay grade that it rightfully deserves as awareness increases
Exactly!!!
