Mental health awareness is extremely important, as stress, anxiety, and burnout are becoming more common. Academic stress, work stress, financial burdens, meeting deadlines, expectations from family, society, need for settling fast, depression, are becoming common in all age groups. Mental health is as important as physical health. People not openly talking about mental health, still confining it to a psychological distress is something to discuss about. Encouraging people to seek support when needed, normalizing it and spreading awareness also promotes understanding and empathy toward others.
Despite growing awareness, many people still hesitate to discuss mental health due to fear of judgement. Creating supportive environments at school, workplace can make a big difference.
