E prescription and E pharmacies have definitely made life easier. By using E prescription, we reduce the chances of making mistakes due to handwriting and its also easier to keep healthcare records. The only issue i can think of is that while writing prescriptions doctors use a standard template to fill in all the details or use the drop down menu so that could lead to mistakes or some details being left out

At Large Private Hospitals we can see common use of E-prescriptions; On the otherhand we can also have a look that government also has its hands on raising E-presriptions by generating format E-prescriptions to patients ID itself.

Most hand written prescriptions are hard to read for patients and sometimes they tear off if not handled properly. E prescriptions can be an advantage.
