Has anyone ever questioned how a degree in science could get you out of the lab? Transitioning from student to a working professional

Has anyone ever questioned how a degree in science could get you out of the lab?

Being an MSc Biological Sciences student, my reality was based on research, data, and the ability to see the life on a more profound level.

Then I entered into a MBA Marketing- and all changed.

I stopped learning about cells and learned about people. Between experiments and strategies. It was as though it were two different ways.

But together they made a good match.

The study of science taught me to think, analyze and question.

Marketing has taught me the art of communication, connecting and impressing.

To-day, as an ABM, I do not single-handedly handle products; I study the science of products and put them across in a clear way.

As a medical author, I make complicated medical matters clear and understandable, and they are to be informative and interesting.

It was not a trip of changing disciplines. It was about blending them.

Since in some cases, your great career path is where you know and how you share it.

So here is the question–do you just study your degree, or are you finding out what it can actually be?

I agree, a one-way approach doesn’t work. We have to think outside the box and consider different possibilities.

It’s really interesting to read about the professional experiences of others.

Yes agreed
