“Experience or Energy – Who Heals Better?”

In the world of medicine, the debate between experience and fresh talent is never-ending. Experienced medical professionals bring years of practical knowledge, sharp decision-making, and confidence built through real-life cases. On the other hand, freshers step in with updated medical knowledge, tech-savviness, and an eagerness to learn and adapt. While experience ensures reliability, freshers bring innovation and energy.

The truth is—healthcare thrives when both work together. A perfect blend of wisdom and enthusiasm creates a system where learning never stops and care only gets better.

What matters more in medicine—confidence from experience or curiosity to learn?

With AI and new tools in medicine, are freshers better prepared than ever?

In an emergency, who would you trust more: a fresher with sharp skills or a veteran with years of practice?

I feel the best care happens when both fresh knowledge and experience work together. A senior person in the field brings much depth to the work that mostly emerges through years of observation, pattern recognition, intuition and knowledge built around real case scenarios, and maintaining calm in the midst of chaos. Likewise, a fresher in the field brings fresh eyes to look at a certain situation with new perspectives and also trainings in modern tools, technology, and updated information on recent research terrain. When they both work side by side, the best outcomes emerge. During emergency situations, I feel it’s more about who stays open with efficient wisdom to go ahead with the work against all odds rather than who knows more. Medicine is a fast-growing and ever-evolving field and the best teams are decided not through age, but a team that has trust and humility towards each other and also where there’s willingness to learn from each other.

This topic is really interesting. I feel both experience and curiosity are equally important in medicine. Experienced doctors have the calmness and clarity in critical situations, while freshers bring in new techniques and updated knowledge. If both work together, patient care will be much better. With new technologies like AI, freshers are getting stronger, but experience still plays a key role, especially during emergencies.

An experienced professional brings deep knowledge, while a newbie adds fresh energy and enthusiasm. In healthcare, they balance like a see-saw, one offers wisdom and the other offers momentum for a fresh start.
