Do babies mouth need mouth cleaning too?

Well yes! Though they may not have any teeth, their gum pads and tongue should be cleaned regularly. This can be done using silicone baby tooth brush or a cotton gauze. This prevents any oral diseases like candidiasis.

Yes, the mouth of babies should be cleaned. Well, in Indian households we won’t find it, but I saw this during my pediatric posting and was a mythbuster for me.

Yes that’s true . Mouth cleaning is also very important for the babies .

And tooth blushing should start in babies when the first tooth appears, ie, about six months of each. So yes, in an infant six to one year of age, toothbrushing should be done.
