I thought we will continue doing what we did in college. But in clinics, things are lot different. Also I assumed we will be given cases easily, but nope. Also expected good salary. Thats also not trueš
Instead of confidence, thereās more of confusion.
Instead of stability, thereās exploration.
I find myself dabbling in exploring clinical and non- clinical roles ,searching for direction, for clarity.
But the truth is, I donāt have any surety right now.
And maybe thatās okay.
Maybe this phase ⦠this blurry, uncertain phase is part of figuring it out.
Still, itās not what I expected.
At its core, dentistry is connecting with patients, calming their fears, and genuinely making a difference in their lives while also embracing growth and new technology. Itās a profession that constantly pushes you, yet rewards you with real human connection and unlimited opportunities to learn
first of all we all thought of getting admission in mbbs rather than bds
because at that time we doesnāt know about bds and scopes in bds
i only thought that mbbs is better than bds but unfortunately i got bds so i was happy with that one thing that atleast i can add dr prefix before my name
but later today i am a bds gradute and a mds student
through out my experience i really appreciate my career because i am a surgeon and doctor too
and i realized that if i would have done mbbs i would never get this chance to became both at same time a single degree that gives u more money and knowledge at same time
Dentistry can give quicker financial returns, while MBBS with specialization may bring higher long-term earnings.
Am so glad to see your positive outlook.![]()
