When survival instinct takes over serving, this is what will happen. Medical career has become extremely competitive, stressful and career placement takes a lot of efforts and one has to toil hard.

Medical markets are not easy due to a lot of unethical practices, lack of good regulations and undue competition due to unscrupulous elements running the show. End result is rat race. The decline in empathy among healthcare apprentices could happen from factors like emotional burnout, high-pressure environments, over-reliance on technology(AI), and a growing focus on efficiency over patient connection. Limited patient interaction might also play a role.

Curriculum is more based on technical aspects in which the emotional and empathetic communication is not covered.
Lack of role modeling and assessment oriented education is also the cause where there is decline of empathy amongst healthcare apprentices.
