What career mistakes do you think people commonly make while choosing a career?

We need to look for the demand and future of the career we select.
Just because we like a particular subject, we may not always have a good future in it.
So, we need to avoid mistakes of selecting careers which is saturated and has less potential opportunities.
Not listening to the experienced people.
In my opinion, most of the individual choose their career based on hows the scope of that particular field in the world, not by understanding the fact that one should choose their career based on their interest.
Also following the path which other peers have chosen without even a thought.
That’s the biggest mistake one do while choosing their career.
Common mistakes are -
choosing a career just for money, not knowing enough about the job, ignoring what you enjoy and not asking for advice.
It’s important to find a balance between passion and practicality.
