Just a guess…it might be sickle cell anemia or anisopoikilocytes. Since its mentioned as pain crisis so most likely it is sickle cell anemia
In sickle cell disease, abnormally shaped red blood cells (sickle-shaped) can cause vaso-occlusive crises, leading to pain episodes. These sickled cells can obstruct blood vessels, reducing blood flow and oxygen delivery to tissues, resulting in pain.
abnormally shaped cells blocking blood flow and causing pain crises Hints for sickle cell anemia
Sickle cell anemia
Sickle cell anemia. Reminds me of my 2nd semester, where we saw sickle cell anemia and this looks kinda similar.
SC crisis are extremely painful (bone pains are painful). Thus adequate oxygenation, hydration and analgesia are the cornerstone of SCC management.
Pain crises is the key here.
It is Sickle Cell Anaemia and pain is because of
Vaso Occlusiveness of abnormal cells.

I guess, it should be sickle cell anemia .

In sickle cell anemia ,cell gets shape of a sickle which gets blocked in normal blood vessels and creates blockage for normal blood flow.
Sickle cell anemia is caused by a genetic mutation in the β-globin gene on chromosome 11, where glutamic acid is replaced by valine at the 6th position (Glucose).
As lots of people have guessed it as a - Sickle Cell Anaemia.
Sickle cell anemia is a kind of genetic disorder in which the shape of the red blood cells got disturbed and become in Sickle shape. These lead to easy and faster breakdown of red blood cells that lead to less supply of oxygen to the body and causes anaemia.
This shape also leads to blockage of the blood vessels which can further restrict the blood flow to the body.
