Could a demyelinating disorder explain involvement of both the optic nerve and sensory pathways? :high_voltage:

Would a TIA typically present with optic neuritis–type visual symptoms, or is that more suggestive of an inflammatory process? :eye:

Could this represent a clinically isolated syndrome that later progresses?

symptoms like tingling, numbness, “pins and needles” sensations in the arms, legs, or face.- sensory,

optic- unilateral, or bilateral visual loss, often accompanied by pain with eye movement, “washed out” color vision, and a relative afferent pupillary defect.

It is often serves as initial symptoms, associated with central nervous system demyelinating diseases ,called Multiple Sclerosis.
