peripheral neuropathy
Transient Ischemic attack
How about Stroke? Transient ishemical attack
optic neuritis
If this is optic neuritis, what systemic neurological condition is most commonly associated with it? ![]()
Could a demyelinating disorder explain involvement of both the optic nerve and sensory pathways? ![]()
pain with eye movement and temporary vision loss in one eye.
Would a TIA typically present with optic neuritis–type visual symptoms, or is that more suggestive of an inflammatory process? ![]()
Could this represent a clinically isolated syndrome that later progresses?
symptoms like tingling, numbness, “pins and needles” sensations in the arms, legs, or face.- sensory,
optic- unilateral, or bilateral visual loss, often accompanied by pain with eye movement, “washed out” color vision, and a relative afferent pupillary defect.
Multiple sclerosis
It is often serves as initial symptoms, associated with central nervous system demyelinating diseases ,called Multiple Sclerosis.
No I don’t think TIA presents with optic neuritis type symptoms
Blurred vision in one eye along with arm numbness could suggest a neurological cause, and one condition that comes to mind is multiple sclerosis (MS). In MS, inflammation of the optic nerve (optic neuritis) can lead to blurred vision, while demyelination in the central nervous system may cause sensory symptoms like numbness or tingling in the limbs.
But,as @kriti_gelod and @sharu said ,similar symptoms can also occur in conditions such as a transient ischemic attack (TIA) or stroke, which would require immediate medical evaluation. These symptoms should never be ignored and always needed clinical assessment.
great and thanks for clarification
