Case Study - Face value

A 32-year-old woman presents with sudden onset of left-sided facial weakness, difficulty smiling, and drooping eyelid. She has a recent history of viral infection (cold sore). What is the most likely diagnosis, and what would be the appropriate management for this patient?

Looks like the woman is suffering from Bell’s Palsy.
Management:
Corticosteriods and Physical therapy.

Sounds like a case of Bell’s Palsy, mostly triggered by herpes infection(viral infection)..
Management includes corticosteroids for a week or 10 days, antiviral therapy if necessary, the drying of eye can be taken care of with artificial tears, rehabilitative physiotherapy, in very rare situations speech therapy is also recommended.

It’s bells palsy. Management are corticosteroid to reduce inflammation and physical therapy.
Also Ramsay Hunt syndrome is common in herpes virus related bells palsy. We can see vesicles on the ear with tinnitus and hearing loss
