The intern doctors’ three-day agitation in Madhya Pradesh ended on September 9 after the state government reportedly agreed to a 50% increase in the monthly stipend of MBBS interns, taking it from ₹14,337 to approximately ₹21,500. The revised amount remains below the ₹30,000 stipend originally demanded by the protesters.
