Let’s talk about the “all natural” toothpastes marketed by Indian brands

Dabur Red : most abrasive toothpaste in multiple studies; causes highest enamel roughness

Meswak: High silica content = significant surface damage

Patanjali Dant Kanti: contains 41-47% calcium carbonate which is above the ideal range of 10-40% ; moderate to high surface abrasion

Vicco Vajradanti( powdered form) : more abrasive than many commercial toothpastes.

Don’t fall for natural just because it sounds nice.
Enamel won’t grow back but your dentist’s bill sure will.

Fun fact : none of these formulas are mentioned in ayurveda , just making money under the name " natural 100% ayurvedic "

Omg my farther got us some nutraceutical toothpaste and damaged my teeth so bad it didn’t had basic fluoride
