AIIMS gonna do first face transpalent surgery!

After making many progressive success, In india AIIMS is gearing to perform first face transplant for. initiative is designed to treat patients with severe facial deformities from injuries or burns who have not seen results from conventional surgery. This is to restore function.

selection of patient criteria:- No recent malignancy and /or recent infection

                         ready for immunosuppresion and rehbailitation
face transplant is replacement of parts or all of the face from dnor.

Engaging question :- after success  of this initiative whats future of constructive surgery in india?
                      
                       Will it be used or misused in future?

A major advancement indeed. While the surgical expertise is commendable, long-term outcomes will heavily rely on immunosuppressive therapy adherence and multidisciplinary rehabilitation. Also, the ethical angle must be looked at in such major surgeries.
