Anticholinergic Toxidrome A condition caused by drug overdose, refers to the collection of signs and symptoms caused by the blockade of acetylcholine at muscarinic receptors.
It is commonly seen with overdose of drugs like antihistamines, tricyclic antidepressants, antipsychotics, atropine, and scopolamine.
Key Clinical Features:-

CNS (Mad as a hatter)->Agitation, confusion, hallucinations, delirium, seizures, coma

Eyes (Blind as a bat)->Mydriasis, blurred vision, photophobia

Skin (Red as a beet)->Flushed skin due to vasodilation

Temperature (Hot as a hare)-> Hyperthermia (impaired sweating)

Secretions (Dry as a bone)->Dry mouth, dry skin, urinary retention, decreased bowel sounds
