A pharmacist just not read and dispense,or just guide the patient about medication timings.But they have several roles too.
Observe individuals history of medications, asking doctors to correct if there any mistake in the medications prescribed, informing pharmacy regulatory organisations about any illegal actions,adverse effects of any drug, prevention of multiple drug interactions,advise their customers and guide them when they need a doctor, ensuring adherence of patients for their medication and many more
